From the Sea to the Lakes in the North
685 km
Start: Rosenhagen | End: Anklam
The Naturparkweg begins in the Biosphere Reserve Schaalsee, where bodies of water are nestled among ancient forests. Your journey begins on forest trails, accompanied by the rustling of leaves and the calls of cranes. In Schwerin, the palace complex awaits your exploration.
The journey continues into the Sternberg Lake District. You’ll pass through the Warnow-Durchbruchstal, nestled between rolling hills and deep valleys. After passing through the Nossentiner/Schwinzer Heide, with its pine forests and manor houses, the route splits.
On the Southern Route, you can explore the entire 685-kilometer route to Usedom or choose individual sections. The route takes you past Germany’s largest inland lake, the Müritz, and the Feldberger Seenlandschaft with its crystal-clear waters. A ride on the Luzin ferry is a special experience.
